A CITIC Securities research report shows that driven by the trend of square large cells among mainstream battery companies, battery production capacity using lamination equipment is expected to reach 845GWh by 2027, corresponding to a lamination machine equipment space of approximately 25.3 billion yuan, equivalent to a CAGR of Reach 35%.
As the core part of the lithium battery mid-cell assembly process, the lamination process has not been widely used before, mainly due to factors such as the difficulty in improving production efficiency and yield.
